The show will see 25 contenders placed in bands, with songwriters and producers coaching them. Lafayette Marching Band competes in the Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) 5A classification. Contests / IN Bands Bands are divided by their respective school size, competing against schools with similarly-sized student bodies. Please do not go to this area until it is time for your band to perform. Each band will receive a 20 minute clinic following their performance.
